Education Requirement

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, advertising, business or a related field preferred.

Job Requirements

  • 3 or more years of experience in loan support operations, loan customer service, or experience deemed equivalent at the discretion of Capital Farm Credit.
  • 1 or more years of related marketing experience.
  • Experience in administrative support functions.
  • Good standing in current and/or previous employment.
  • Strong work ethic that supports a willingness to handle multiple tasks with efficiency and accuracy.

Functions

  • Oversees and manages manipulation of marketing data. Creates and disseminates relative reports. Provides insight into opportunities through translation of data. Works with other marketing staff on an as requested basis for data and report preparation.
  • Efficiently and effectively executes analytics projects to meet specifications. Secures and organizes data from multiple sources for marketing analysis and project management. Responsible for the preparation and distribution of commercial bank competition reports, market penetration and other marketing related reports.
  • Develops and organizes loan applicant information for review and analysis by loan officers and inputs pertinent loan data into credit delivery system. This may include input and spreading of financial information on routine and more complex loans, such as balance sheets, tax returns and data required to generate accurate credit scores. Examines loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assists with the closing of loans by preparing loan closing documents and related materials as directed. Ensures closing documents are accurate and complete.
  • Maintains an informational knowledge of association product offerings with an ability to discuss those with customers on a conversational basis.
  • Provides excellent customer service on a routine basis by answering customer inquiries, resolving customer issues and concerns, answering questions related to product offerings, taking and processing loan payments, with an ability to discuss loan, loan transactions, and products in an efficient, routine fashion. In discussions with borrowers, will note cross selling opportunities on other association products and refer to appropriate lending staff to meet those needs.
  • Records new loans, establishes relevant files, processes loan payments, maintains a variety of loan records and obtains credit information. Assists in maintaining and monitoring borrowers’ required insurance, UCC financing statement and deed of trust expiration dates, payment of property taxes and other loan requirements and reporting.
  • Administers Enterprise Content processes for the Association.
  • Maintains knowledge and demonstrates ability to use IT systems used in lending and office administration.
  • Collects loan payments and performs related tasks required to service loans.
  • Prepares documents and correspondence for association reports as required following approved association policies and procedures.
  • Operates a variety of standard office equipment according to detailed instructions, which may include computers, paper shredders, telephones, photocopiers, fax machines, and scanners.

Preferred Skills

  • General knowledge of documentation requirements for title policies, deeds of trust, and collateral.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • General knowledge of accounting and financial systems.
  • Basic to moderate skill set in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Ability to operate office machinery (copiers, scanners, faxes, etc.)
  • Familiarity with standard office filing systems.
  • General knowledge of loan legal documents.
